NSW Green Slip CTP Insurance payment/renewal
Thank you for insuring with GIO. To make payments and renewals easy we have a few different options available.

NSW CTP payments cannot be made via BPAY.
Payment of a Green Slip online, by phone or at a GIO agency will result in an eGreen slip being sent to RMS immediately. Payment at a post office will take up to 2 business days for the eGreen Slip to reach RMS.

For making a payment
NSW Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance, also known as a Green Slip, is mandatory and must be purchased before you can register your vehicle in NSW. CTP covers NSW drivers for the costs of a person’s injuries incurred in a motor vehicle accident.
Payment will reach the RMS within:
- 1 hour, if you pay online, by phone, or at a GIO Agency
- 2 business days, if you pay at an Australian Post Office
