What you'll need before claiming

  • Details about when the event occurred and what happened.
  • Details of what has been affected  e.g. broken window, roof damaged by fallen tree.
  • To help speed up your claim, for electrical items please have details about the make and model handy.

If the loss is caused by theft, you should notify the police and obtain a report.
