What happens if I'm in an accident with an uninsured driver?
If you have Comprehensive Insurance, we will cover damage to your motorcycle if you’re in an accident with an uninsured driver. The limit will be the amount you covered your motorcycle for.
If you have Third Party Property Damage or Fire, Theft and Third Party Property damage you may still be covered if you have an accident with an uninsured driver. If your motorcycle is insured and involved in an incident, and the rider of your motorcycle didn't contribute to the accident (this means that the other driver was entirely at fault), and you can provide us with the name, address and registration details of the person at fault, you may be covered to a limit of $5,000 for any one incident.
