As a Claims Manager for SICorp, GIO manages Motor Vehicle claims for TMF Agencies.

What is Covered

Motor cover refers to the protection provided to TMF Agencies for a loss or damage to a motor vehicle of the TMF Agency or to another persons vehicle or property, following a motor vehicle accident.

Making a Claim

GIO recognises that being involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in damage to the TMF Agency’s vehicle or Third Party property may cause disruption so making a claim is a priority. To provide an easy guide for this process please click on the below diagram for information about how to make a claim.

Please note: when a TMF claim is litigated the legal service provider is allocated from the TMF Legal Services Panel. It is also recognised that once a claim is lodged GIO acts in partnership with the TMF Agency until conclusion of the matter.

So that the claim can be notified successfully, we need the Agency to collect and provide the following information:

  • A completed Agency Claim Form. For assistance with completing the claim form, please contact your GIO Client Services Manager.
  • Supporting documentation including the other party's demand or originating process and their version of events, the details of and their proof of loss such as quotes, replacement invoices or Letter of Demand. This may include witness statements with contact details of any other parties involved (if applicable) and/or Internal incident or investigation reports (if available). 

Note: GIO will need to receive both quotes and images on a claim for the Motor Assessing process to commence. Smart repairs is excluded. A file size restriction of 20MB applies.
