Introduction to RTW Co-ordination is provided in both NSW and ACT with training content specific to each state.

NSW course Information

This WorkCover accredited course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to effectively coordinate workplace injury and illness. In NSW, a category 1 employer (An employer with greater than 20 employees or a base tariff premium greater than $50,000 per year), is required under Workers’ Compensation legislation to employ or engage a person as a Return to Work Coordinator who must attend this course.

Key topics include:

• Overview of the WorkCover scheme;

• Employers Workplace Rehabilitation Program; and

• Role of the RTW Coordinator.

ACT Course Information

From 1st June 2016 all ACT employers paying in excess of $200,000 in Workers Compensation premium will be required to have a trained and appointed RTW coordinator in their business in accordance with the Workers Compensation Act 1951 (the Act).

• Creation and maintenance of RTW plans
