GIO in conjunction with Sonic Health Plus is pleased to offer this nationally accredited training program that has been designed to meet the needs of participants who deal with fatigue-related hazards in the workplace.

Fatigue is a general term used to describe the feeling of being excessively tired, drained or exhausted. It is accompanied by poor judgement, impairment, slower reactions to events and decreased skills. This course has been designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, control and prevent workplace hazards related to fatigue. The training provides participants with a range of individual prevention strategies to adopt in both their personal lives and at work.

The structure of your course includes:

  • Introduction: What is fatigue?
  • Effects and causes of fatigue
  • Legislative background
  • Personal warning signs and symptoms
  • Personal Strategies for the prevention and management of fatigue
  • Workplace Controls to manage fatigue
  • RPL

RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the qualification. To apply for RPL, simply complete the enrolment form indicating that you would like to apply for RPL. Once enrolment is processed you will receive a pre-assessment to determine your eligibility for RPL.

Recognition & Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued from RTO 51535 with a Statement of Attainment for TLIF2010 Apply fatigue management strategies.
