GIO in conjunction with the National Safety Council Australia (NSCA) is pleased to offer the Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety. This certificate aims to give participants a fundamental knowledge of the basic role of an Occupational Health and Safety specialist.

It covers a broad range of functions and responsibilities in the workplace including identifying hazards, assessing OHS risks, implementing strategies to control OHS risks and evaluating an organisation’s OHS performance.

The Certificate IV in OHS is ideal for OHS practitioners and supervisors who can demonstrate an appropriate level of language and literacy by completing a Safety Skills Assessment. Students must complete the course within 12 months.
