A Personal Injury Plan (PIP) must be developed by GIO if it is likely that the worker will be incapacitated, partially or totally, for a period of more than 7 calendar days.
As part of the RTW process, an employer must provide suitable duties after an injury has occurred, as well as take part in vocational rehabilitation for the injured worker. Please complete a Return to Work Program form or call your GIO Case Officer.
