Holiday Travel Insurance Features*

Choice of single or family policy	Single policy covering you and up to one child or grandchild under 21 years old or Family policy covering you, your husband/wife or de-facto partner and your children or grandchildren
Overseas medical and dental expenses	We’ll cover reasonable unlimited medical expenses incurred outside Australia arising from an illness or injury and dental expenses up to $1,000 for a Single Policy and $2,000 for a Family Policy resulting from injury.
Unlimited cancellation charges	We’ll cover your reasonable travel and accommodation expenses if your journey is cancelled for unforeseen circumstances outside of your control, if you have already paid for the expenses and you cannot recover them from anyone else.
Personal baggage	We’ll cover loss or damage to your personal baggage, clothing or personal effects up to: $6,000 for a single policy $12,000 for a family policy.
Cash paid while in hospital	We’ll pay you a cash allowance of $100 per day if you are in an overseas hospital for more than 48 hours, up to a maximum of: $6,000 for a single policy $12,000 for a family policy
Personal Liability	We’ll cover your personal legal liability up to $5 million.

Added benefits

Additional expenses for transport and accommodation	We’ll cover reasonable additional transport and accommodation expenses you incur when: You suffer an injury or illness You have to return to Australia due to the injury or illness of a relative or a business partner Your scheduled public transport services are interrupted due to a strike, riot, natural disaster or weather conditions.
Resuming your journey	We’ll pay towards your travel costs in resuming your journey if you have returned to Australia because of death, injury or illness of a relative, up to: $2,000 for a single policy $4,000 for a family policy.
Delayed transport, accommodation and meal expenses	We’ll pay reasonable accommodation and meal expenses you incur if your transport departure time is delayed for 12 hours or more and the delay is outside of your control, up to: $250 for each 12 hour period, to a maximum of $1,000 for a single policy $500 for each 12 hour period, to a maximum of $2,000 for a family policy.
Emergency clothing and toiletries due to delayed baggage	We’ll cover the cost of emergency clothing and toiletries if your baggage is not returned to you within 12 hours of being declared missing, up to: $250 per 12 hour period, to a maximum of $500 for a single policy $500 per 12 hour period, to a maximum of $1,000 for a family policy.
Loss of travel documents	We’ll cover the loss, damage or theft of your travel documents, up to: $1,000 for a single policy $2,000 for a family policy.
Unauthorised use of credit cards	We’ll cover the unauthorised use of your credit cards, if stolen, up to: $500 for a single policy $1,000 for a family policy.
Accidental death	If you die during your journey due to an injury, as a result of an accident, we’ll pay to your estate up to: $25,000 for a single policy $50,000 for a family policy.
Special event cancellation expenses	If you are unable to attend a special event due to unforeseen circumstances outside your control, we’ll pay the cost of your unused special event tickets, up to: $500 for a single policy $2000 for a family policy.
Hire car insurance excess	We’ll cover the excess amount you must pay on a claim you make on your hire car insurance or the cost of repairs, up to: $2,000 for a single policy $4,000 for a family policy.
