These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Online Quotes and Insurance Application aspects of the GIO website. Access to this site is for Australian customers only and the information and insurance products available through this site are intended for use only by a person (including an individual or an organisation):

1. where the person (being a natural person) resides in, or a person (being an organisation) is based in, Australia; and
2. where the insurance product being applied for is for a motor vehicle that is ordinarily garaged in Australia or a home/contents located in Australia.

You warrant that you will only access this site if you, comply with the above and that if you access this site from outside Australia, you warrant that you do so on your own initiative, you are not contravening any laws in force in the jurisdiction applicable to where you access this site and you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

GIO only consents to the use of electronic communications for the application and payment of insurance using the forms appearing on this website. If you would otherwise like to discuss any aspect of an insurance quote, application or policy, please contact us on 13 10 10 to speak to one of our consultants.

Variation

GIO may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this page. If you are not taking out insurance on the day you obtain your quote, you should review the then current Terms and Conditions, before applying for any policy of insurance with GIO.

Other terms applying to this site

The terms and conditions set out at IMPORTANT INFORMATION and PRIVACY also form part of this agreement. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other documentation included in this site, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
