  rising rivers and flooding from faulty household items
  and pipes¹
• Up to 25% extra protection – if the costs to rebuild your
  damaged home exceeds your sum insured – with our
  Safety Net Home Protection
• Up to $2,000 policy cover for your grandchildren’s (under
  18 years) contents when they are visiting you at the time
  of the loss
• Cover even if your home is unoccupied for up to 90
  days

It’s GIO Home Insurance designed specifically for people 55 and
over.

¹ Actions or movement of the sea, high tides and leaks from showers are not covered.

• Up to 12 months temporary accommodation costs if your home
  is damaged and unliveable
• Lifetime guarantee on repairs that we authorise
• Choice of one annual payment or Pay by the Month (fee applies)

• When you’re on holidays, you’ll have cover for your contents in
  places like hotels or holiday houses anywhere in Australia for
  up to180 days.
• Cover for contents you move into a commercial storage for up
  to 12 months

• Motor burnout
• Injury to pet dogs and cats up to $500
• Mortgagee’s interest for a strata unit
• Portable cover for your contents away from home anywhere

• Domestic Workers Compensation for ACT and WA
  customers
