- Provide a public benefit or serve a charitable purpose
- Support the social fabric of the community
- Are not controlled by a business or government or semi-government sector
- Do not have an annual turnover exceeding $10,000,000

My Risk Evaluator ('MRE') is a web-based risk management tool specifically designed for Australian Non-Profit, Volunteering and Community Groups. MRE has been designed to assist organisations understand the basic concepts of risk management and to identify and manage risks. For those customers who take up the following offer, GIO has arranged for MRE to be provided to them at no extra cost.
As a special Risk Management offer, for those customers who commit to insuring with GIO for the next 2 years and use MRE as their risk management tool, GIO will give those customers 2 years stable premiums for their Public & Products Liability policy (provided there is no change to their risk profile). Complete all modules of MRE and receive a further 10% discount on renewal of your Public and Products Liability insurance policy.

If your organisation already has an approved documented risk management plan complying with AS/NZS 4360:2004 Risk Management, GIO will reward you with a 10% premium discount on Public & Products Liability insurance. In addition, those customers who agree to insure with GIO for the next 2 years will also receive that discounted premium for the next two years (provided there is no change in their risk profile).
