Third Party Property Damage Insurance provides cover for your legal liability for the damage your car accidentally causes to other people's vehicles or property up to $20 million. It also provides cover for your own car up to $5,000 should you be in an accident where the other driver or vehicle has no insurance and where we agree that you were not at fault and you can provide us with the name, address and registration details of the other driver.

Cover for damage to other people's property

Third party property damage provides cover for your legal liability up to $20 million for loss or damage that your car causes to other people's property.
Cover for damage by uninsured drivers

Cover for damage by uninsured drivers

GIO provides cover up to $5,000 for damage caused to your car by an uninsured driver when we agree you are not at fault and you can provide us with the name, address and registration details of the other driver.
Automatic cover for a substitute car

Automatic cover for a substitute car

If your car can't be driven, we will cover you for third party property damage when you use another car, if you have the legal use of this car and it does not belong to you. It does not cover any damage to the substitute car. This cover is for 14 days from the day your car was not driveable.
