GIO operates a Recommended Repairer Scheme to promote the services of qualified Repairers where a customer does not have a repairer of choice. These Repairers operate under service levels arrangements to ensure that our customers are provided with a high level of service and quality repairs.

All qualified Repairers may register an expression of interest to join our Recommended Repairer panel. As a Recommended Repairer, there are no formal accreditation requirements however you will be required to adhere to our procedures, service levels and customer service standards. A Service Level Agreement will be provided to you should your application be successful.

As a Recommended Repairer, you may be invited to become an Accredited Recommended Repairer if:
If you do not adhere to our procedures, service levels and customer service standards, your Recommended Repairer status may be removed.
A GIO Recommended Repairer panel service provider is not a member of GIO's Accredited Recommended Repairer Scheme - ARR.
As a Recommended Repairer, you may be invited to become an ARR when you have demonstrated you are able to provide our customers with high quality repairers and excellent service at a competitive cost, for a minimum of 1 year. You will also be required to pass an accreditation process.

If you do not meet your targets or adhere to our procedures, service levels and customer service standards, your Recommended Repairer status may be removed.
A GIO Accredited Recommended Repairer is a Network Smash Repairer (NSR) as described in the Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
